- When an interviewer (regardless of his own bias or lack there of) asks a progressive about the right-wing bias at Fox News the conversation remains focused upon Fox. They will go down the list of all of the hosts and their bias. No mention of MSNBC will ever come up.
- When an interviewer asks a progressive about the left-wing bias at MSNBC the FIRST thing out of their mouth is a reference to FOX News. They play a desperate game of "hot potato". Instead of defending or justifying their positions they are stronger on the attack - keeping their enemies on trial.
It is rather amusing to hear a Baltimore Sun entertainment writer make the case that even though the departed Keith Olbermann tried to sound like Edward R Murrow - he in fact was more like Joseph McCarthy.
- Keith Olbermann And The Hypocrisy At MSNBC By David Zurawik
The MSNBC (short lived) host made a mistake by including a snippet of Keith Olbermann in on a list of "loud mouths" on the news. He should have kept it safe and included only right-wing blowhards.
I have stated previously that the progressive-fundamentalist doesn't believe that his "hatred" is the same type of "hatred" that is used by the right-wing. The right has deep seeded hatred. The left's hatred is only in defense against the initiated attacks from the right. They are otherwise peace loving people. IF the right-wing simply behaved themselves - (and allowed the left to "evolve" favorably the society as they want to) - then everything would be peaceful.
The truth is that they are as bigoted as the extremists on the right. Their hyper focus on their enemies is a sign of their hatred. Their inability to define the means by which THEIR OWN theories might be implemented while avoiding government oppression (in the way that is favorable to them) shows their need for congregational unity over an effective plan.
In truth BOTH left and right are merely running the same game. Anyone who chooses to fuse their own development interests into one of these two "teams" is part of the problem and they will ultimately lose.
