Message Board: Mirror On Black America

Subject - They are going after Hillary Clinton for flip flopping on NAFTA but missing the fact that NEITHER Clinton or Obama are going to address the greater threat to Black employment - the Illegal Immigration

Original Post:
The Huffington Post has followed along with a laugh-out-loud piece in which the chief architects of NAFTA (many who are now wealthy corporate lawyers and lobbyists) are now saying, no, no, Hillary Clinton was really opposed to it. These are the same people, of course, who are looking for jobs in the Hillary Clinton White House.
What a total joke, really. This campaign clearly thinks we are all just a bunch of fools.

Hillary Clinton has made statements unequivocally trumpeting NAFTA as the greatest thing since sliced bread. The Buffalo News reports that back in 1998, Clinton attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and thanked praised corporations for mounting "a very effective business effort in the U.S. on behalf of NAFTA." Yes, you read that right: She traveled to Davos to thank corporate interests for their campaign ramming NAFTA through Congress.

MY Response:
Angry Independent:

Which force has had a greater negative impact on Black employment and salaries in the past 30 years? NAFTA or Immigration?

40% of the decline in Black employment is due to immigration.

****
You seem more interested in PINNING a flip flop on Hillary Clinton than in talking about the SUBSTANTIVE bottom line of BOTH ISSUES - the impact on the Americans looking for jobs.

Once again - This Black themed message board is like a light in the pitch black night that acts as a gathering point by left wing moths.
In this case there is one particular White leftist who has been accepted in as a "friend of Black people".

Here is his post as taken from the DailyKos. For some reason this type of dreamed up scenario causes glee in their souls. I will never understand them.

[quote]Nov 9, 2044 -- Obama Ends Decades of Republican Majority

November 9, 2044

WASHINGTON, DC: Malia Obama's victory in the 2044 presidential election on Tuesday ended a remarkable 50-year dominance by the Republican party. Obama's victory finally eased the pain from the bitter defeat of her father Barack in the 2008 election. And to complete the irony from 2008, vice-president-elect Chelsea Clinton helped seal the victory by securing Arkansas for the Democrats, the state which first brought her famous parents onto the national stage, and bringing back the memory of Hillary Clinton's titanic struggle with Barack Obama for the 2008 nomination.

Obama proposed some radical changes during her campaign which now face an uphill climb on Capitol Hill. Her proposal to restore the income tax on Americans earning more than $200,000 per year will meet tough challenges, as they have paid no income tax since 2018. And the 92% tax rate on Americans earning less than $200,000 per year may finally be rolled back as well under the Obama administration, although that too will have a difficult time getting through the Senate.

The new President is also expected to quickly introduce legislation to change the name of Mount Reagan back to it's original name of Mount Rushmore. Likely to be included in the bill is a directive to remove the faces of Karl Rove, George W. Bush, and Dick Cheney. And the face of Ronald Reagan may be restored to the original likeness of George Washington if the bill passes.

The Iraq War is expected to finally end under the Obama administration. Even though it is barely half over by what President McCain envisioned in 2008, President-elect Obama's statements during the campaign signaled a change in direction:

"When the world ran out of oil in 2031, the 23rd rationale put forth by the Republicans for continuing the war finally lost its impetus. Even they can't remember why we're there anymore."

The victory by Obama may also renew the efforts to buy back the former states of California, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii from China. The mounting deficits during the Bush and McCain administrations after the turn of the century forced the sale of those states to repay massive loans from China. The loss of the so-called "Left Coast" had made it virtually impossible for a Democrat to ever again win the presidency.

But the 46-state strategy put forth by Obama finally paid off, especially in Arizona, where border tensions with China have simmered ever since the building of The Great Wall II along the Arizona-California border in 2041. Before the wall was built, massive illegal immigration by Arizona Republicans crossing over into China finally made it possible for the Democrats to carry Arizona. Americans have increasing been forced to illegally enter into China, as well as Canada and Mexico, in search of basic health care services that were banned by President Michelle Bachmann in 2033.

Marriage reform will be another early priority under Obama. She seeks to reverse both the constitutional ban on gay marriage passed in 2015, and the constitutional ban on Democrats getting married that passed in 2024. But Chief Justice Antonin Scalia, now 108 years old, has vowed to keep these bans in place, saying "as long as I can still take a breath I won't let those America-haters get married. It's bad enough that they still use our drinking fountains." It's still disputed whether Scalia is indeed still breathing, but he somehow appears in his chair each time the court is gavelled into session, and no Republican president has dared question whether he is still alive.

Obama's historic victory brought back memories of the contentious 2008 election. Her father Barack, the Democratic nominee that year, had run an extraordinary campaign against Republican John McCain. But a last-minute tactic by Karl Rove accused Obama of performing back-alley marriage ceremonies for gay Muslims. It was later proven to be untrue, but Obama never recovered momemtum and the tide turned for McCain. His victory in 2008 continued the policies of his predecessor, George W. Bush, and set the stage for a string of Republican presidents that lasted 50 years. It will be left to historians to put those 50 years into perspective, but Obama's victory unquestionably marks an end to that period in American history.

Blog: Jack & Jill Politics and Mirror On America

Subject: The random deletion of my comments because they contain OPINIONS that tend to put the author to shame. A request was made to have them publish their posting rules in advance so that I can remain in compliance.

I figure that the only RULE in this regard is that I CHANGE MY OPINIONS and make them in line with THEIRS in order to remain a poster in good standing.

POST:

Hey Rikyrah and other Administrators who have a functional "delete key" on this blog:

I know how sensitive you guys are about "Changing/Making up the rules as we go along" per Hillary Clinton.

Could you all detail this blog's POLICY regarding when you delete people's submissions to your blog?

Is it because of certain "offensive speech" - ie: name calling, cursing and slander......

OR is it that you deserve the right to DELETE comments because they challenge your otherwise homogeneous discussions and dare to question your fundamental assumptions?

I take it that the battle for "freedom of expression" and tolerance is applied outward rather than accepted inward by some.

The Purpose Of This Blog

The purpose of this blog is to create a shadow copy of my posts on the various biased Black Left leaning blogs who make a liberal use of the delete key on my comments because their TOLERANCE for freedom of expression is only limited to the PROJECTION upon others rather than being a standard for themselves.
